My Fellow Citizens! (2019)

1 - The 60-Million-Dollar Con

Yang Jung Guk is a con artist that has pride in his job. As his last con before he retires, he targets Park Sang Pil. Jung Guk with his team of con artists, he manages to get 60 million dollars. Now with this money, he plans to marry his girlfriend and live a happy life. Meanwhile, Kim Mi Young, a detective, is on duty to catch criminals but sees her boyfriends car park at a motel.

3 - Moneylender Park Hoo Ja

Park Hoo Ja is successful moneylender that plans to avenge her father for her ambition. Her father was tricked by none other than Jung Gook. She plans to kill him and get it over with. But Jung Gook senses something is wrong and gets away from Hoo Ja and the police who tried to apprehend him.

5 - Abducting Jung Gook

While heading home after a heated conversation with Mi Young, Jung Gook is abducted by Hoo Jas henchmen. Hoo Ja offers to spare him if he promises to work for her and become an assemblyman. Jung Gook refuses her offer, but she makes a threat he cant overlook.

7 - Proving Himself

To win the election, Jung Gook needs an election specialist. But the only that may help is ex-assemblyman Kim Joo Myung. As Jung Gook reveals that he is a con artist, he must prove his worth by showing his capability. Joo Myung tells Jung Gook to sell off a building at a ridiculous price.

9 - The Counterattack

With the document Jung Gook acquired, he plans to counterattack Hoo Ja and Joo Myung. He asks his father to use the building document to apply for a loan from every bank possible. As soon as Hoo Ja hears the news of Jung Gooks plan, she orders her henchmen to capture him.

11 - Jung Gooks Big Announcement

Jung Gook submits his application to run for the Assembly and makes a public announcement of his plan. He is now against two other candidates that are affiliated with political parties. While the other candidates have a professional team that helps them, Jung Gook doesnt have much to work with.

13 - Mi Young Confronting Hoo Ja

Mi Young finds out about Jung Gook meeting with Hoo Ja, but she gets a few facts wrong. Mi Young believes Jung Gook owes Hoo Ja money. And she thinks that is why he is following Hoo Jas orders. Infuriated by this, Mi Young barges into Hoo Jas office to talk.

15 - Preparing for the Debate

To get more exposure and votes, the top two candidates and Jung Gook are to go on a televised debate. Jung Gook is given a script by Joo Myung to follow but is struggling to say something he doesnt believe. Meanwhile, Mi Young plans to apprehend Hoo Ja but is told to hold off for the time being.

17 - Hoo Ja's Scheme

Mi Young arrests Hoo Ja and his subordinates, but it turns out Hoo Ja tricked the police. For arresting someone without evidence, Hoo Ja is released immediately. Meanwhile, Jung Gook feels betrayed and frustrated by Sang Jins change of words. Out of frustration, Jung Gook blurts out something he shouldnt.

19 - Mi Young Helps Out

Joo Myung gathers his campaign team and directs them on a blank whiteboard, telling them that this is their strategy. With that, Mi Young who has decided to help out and the rest head out to win the hearts of the public. Meanwhile, Hoo Ja appears at Han Sang Jins office to make a deal with him putting him in a tight spot.

21 - Switching Candidates

After Jung Gooks rising ratings, Hoo Ja makes an offer to Sang Jin. As Sang Jin isnt overwhelming the other candidates, he is reluctant but takes Hoo Jas offer. In the process, Hoo Ja tells Jung Gook to announce his support for Sang Jin and to withdraw from the election.

23 - Sang Jin's Threat

As Candidate Kang Soo Il withdraws from the election and announces his support for Jung Gook, Jung Gook is in the lead. Sang Jin is desperate and asks Hoo Ja to make Jung Gook withdraw, but she no longer wishes to help either one. As he is given no choice, he plans to expose Jung Gooks secret to the public and Mi Young.

25 - Assemblyman Yang Jung Gook

Jung Gook beats Sang Jin in the election and becomes an assemblyman. After receiving his badge, Hoo Ja calls Jung Gook into her office to chat. Hoo Ja tells Jung Gook something that he had never expected from her.

27 - Digging Up Dirt

As Jung Gook messed up Hoo Jas plan by getting rid of six assemblymen, Hoo Ja comes up with another plan. She plans to pressure the opposition by criticizing the opposing partys minister candidate and make them compromise. However, Jung Gook and his team are having trouble finding good information.

29 - Assemblymen's Dirty Deal

After Jung Gooks harsh criticisms, Chae Jin steps down which ruins the plan Hoo Ja had in mind. Even though both parties arent willing to negotiate, Assemblyman Kim Nam Hwa works up another plan to call a general meeting. Jung Gook, however, doesnt plan to sit around when the assemblymen are making a dirty deal.
